SkyView™ Glass-Paneled Roof
Your vista on the world need not be limited. With Maxima's panoramic SkyView™ Glass-Paneled Roof, you have a view up- and outward virtually the entire length of the cabin. Two sets of sliding sunshades help you get just the effect you want. More light, more sky, a good thing. Of course, a traditional sunroof is also available as an option
Rear Window
The recessed rear window gives Maxima a clean, coupe-like silhouette, while retaining the space and accessibility of a sedan.
Rear Trunk Design
Follow Maxima's sloping roofline, carved with architectural flair, finishing in flying buttresses that infuses Maxima's substance with soaring grace. Beneath the beauty lies another source of substantial size: Maxima's spacious trunk
Fenders
There's an edge to everything about the 2004 Maxima, so why should the fenders be any different? Notice the bold wheel forms arching to meet the road and pushed out to all four corners. Just another example of our designers' attention to detail.
Quad-tipped Dual Mufflers
Two mufflers. Four exhaust ports. Chrome finishers all around. An aggressive look to match Maxima's legendary performance.

Headlights
Maxima's camera lens-style headlights have available High Intensity Discharge bi-level xenon (standard on 3.5 SL), with xenon for both the high beams and low. (Many vehicles have xenon just in the low beams). They're 150% as bright as traditional halogen bulbs, emitting a beam that's closer to natural sunlight to give you an improved view of the world around you. They're also more visible to other drivers, which helps you avoid accidents.
Taillights
Some say they're reminiscent of the new 350Z®. Others just see the chrome accents. But one thing's for sure about Maxima's distinctive taillights: You can't help but notice them. Featuring a unique substructure within the lens, they do anything but straddle the middle of the road.

Large Wheels
FPerformance like Maxima's calls for big wheels with an aggressive look to match. Maxima 3.5 SE gets 18-inch 6-spoke alloy wheels wrapped with performance tires, while the Maxima SL checks in with luxury-design seventeens.
Power Folding Outside Mirrors
Being great on the open road is one thing, but Maxima is also great in the tight squeeze. For parking lots, narrow garages or other "close calls", Maxima's mirrors fold up close to its body
Cornering Lights
No, those aren't fog lights. On a Maxima, even something as run-of-the-mill as the cornering lights get special treatment. They're big and bold and unmistakeable. And they illuminate your way when changing lanes.
