Cab Forward
Altima's platform and overall size allows for a true "cab-forward" design. So the exterior form accurately communicates the generous cabin space, while creating a powerful forward-moving silhouette. The cab-forward design is actually created by moving the windshield forward, raising the roof line and slanting the rear window.
Character Line
The primary styling gesture is a sweeping line that draws your eye to the nose of the vehicle. And directly to the place where Altima's soul resides: Under the hood.

SE-R
The new Altima SE-R features styling details worthy of a performance-minded machine: unique front fascia, side skirts, a rear spoiler and blocked-out molding.
Headlights
Altima's camera lens-style headlights contribute to the strong performance-oriented styling. The "see-through" effect confidently reveals the technology of the car. And SE-R includes black surround headlights for a more aggressive look.
Taillights
The dramatic rear styling is framed on each side by unique jeweled taillights that are both sleek and visible.
Dual Exhaust
True to its V6-powered personality, the 3.5 SL and 3.5 SE models feature dual exhaust with chrome tailpipes. You'll find larger exhaust tips on SE-R.
Altima's aggressive stance comes by virtue of a wide track and standard 16-inch wheels (shown). The 3.5 SE takes things a step further with 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. SE-R, of course, goes beyond that with 18-inch forged-alloy wheels.
